What is Fibroblast Plasma?

Fibroblast Plasma is a revolutionary procedure, non-surgical, non-invasive treatment radically changing how we correct skin anywhere on our bodies. It tightens and lifts the skin, face, and various parts of the body with instant results! It’s also a remarkable, highly effective holistic alternative to traditional laser methods and standard cosmetic surgery. Invented in Italy by Plastic Surgeon Dr. Fippi, this procedure has been safely performed for many years in Europe and North America. The Fibroblast plasma procedure is now sweeping across the United States.

The Fibroblast Plasma Pen is a compact handheld device for nonsurgical skin rejuvenation and is FDA Class II cleared for soft tissue coagulation. It is also CE approved.

It’s often referred to as “soft surgery,” as results are long-lasting and often comparable to traditional cosmetic surgery.

Unlike the effects of Botox, and other fillers which last for mere months, the effects of Fibroblast Plasma Pen treatment will last for up to 3 years.

  • With Fibroblast, you can successfully reduce extra skin while dramatically lifting and tightening almost any area on the face and body. There’s no cutting, stitching, bruising, traditional anesthesia, bleeding, thinned out skin, or an overly pulled or distorted look to the face with this method.

The results are immediate. Collagen will continue to rejuvenate for up to 2 months from the time of the procedure. You will see an overall improvement in the condition of the treated area.

Not only is this a safer choice for skin rejuvenation, but it’s also much more affordable than many alternatives. For longer-lasting results, Fibroblast is the way to go.

Fibroblast Plasma Q & A

  • The plasma pen discharges to small areas of the skin. This targets collagen and protein producing cells in the dermis which then encourages tissue regeneration.

The Fibroblast Plasma Pen is a specialized, compact handheld device for nonsurgical skin rejuvenation and is FDA Class II cleared for soft tissue coagulation. It is also CE approved.

The Plasma Pen works by using the voltage in the air between its tip and the natural gasses emitted just above the skin to form a true “plasma” (ionized gas) charge. This tiny high-frequency electric current shortens, contracts, and tightens targeted skin tissue instantly.

The tip does not directly touch the skin but releases the targeted current just above the skin. Your skin’s natural healing process takes over and encourages your own body to create new fibroblast cells. These cells are protein producing cells in the dermis responsible for the development of collagen to enhance natural volume and elastin for tighter skin.

Each area of treatment that has been addressed by the plasma charge will retract by pulling the skin cells closer together. This procedure successfully targets any areas with excess skin.

Improvements are visible immediately, after your treatment(s). You will see results after 3 to 4 weeks, when the skin enters the third phase of the healing (collagen and connective tissue growth).

Final results can be seen up to ten full weeks. The number of procedures needed per person will vary according to the area being treated, skin laxity, and the individual’s age and response to the treatment. However, most are satisfied with a total of one to three procedures per site.

By introducing Fibroblast as an holistic alternative to the standard cosmetic treatment choices of today, you can explore this new method of rejuvenation.

  • Plasma Pen skin tightening results are impressive but should not be proposed as an alternative to surgery in cases of moderate to severe skin laxity. Only surgery can achieve these kinds of results. You will typically see immediate tightening improvements along with cumulative improvements after 3 to 4 weeks, when the skin enters the third phase of the healing (collagen and connective tissue growth). You will continue to see results over the next two to three months in the appearance of saggy skin. In some cases it may require more than one session depending on the desired results. The number of procedures needed per person will vary according to the area being treated, skin laxity, and the individual’s age and response to the treatment. However, most are satisfied with a total of one to three procedures per site.

  • It depends on the state of the clients’ skin and the desired degree of correction. The client is often satisfied after only one treatment, for example, if the wrinkles are not very deep. But, due to the simplicity of the procedure and the affordable price, many clients opt for two or even three treatments to achieve a desired result. The procedure may be repeated after the skin is fully regenerated, so 6 to 8 weeks after the procedure. Generally, 2 sessions are required to achieve optimal results

  • The results of the Fibroblast treatment are permanent and may be visible for years. However, we are clear to acknowledge that the aging process is continuous and the skin ages every day after the procedure. This cannot be stopped. The results of this method are permanent. When speaking about common facial lines known as worry lines, these may recur quickly because muscles are stronger than the skin and consequently, the lines recur. Average results last from 2 to 4 years.

  • Plasma Pen is mildly to moderately uncomfortable. Everyone’s pain level is different and some areas of the body are more sensitive than others. Numbing cream is used with every procedure and helpful in reducing the discomfort during treatment.

  • The Plasma Pen is a relatively safe treatment, particularly when compared to more invasive cosmetic procedures. However, no procedure is without risks and it’s important to review and understand the risks.

    Swelling and bruising

    Scabbing and crusting

    Skin discoloration

    Scarring

  • PRE-CARE

It is always important to take care of our bodies and keep ourselves in the best of health. However when pre-pairing for any medical procedure we should take extra care. That goes for all Pre Plasma Pen treatments. Fibroblast treatment is not suitable for everyone. There are risks associated with the treatment and it is of the utmost importance to know if you are a good candidate for this advanced procedure. If you’re considering Fibroblast, you should be in good health at the time of the appointment, with no pre-existing health conditions. Ideal candidates for this cosmetic procedure are those with lax, crepe-like skin around the eyes, neck, tummy, mouth, or other targeted areas for the treatment. Once you are cleared for your treatment and procedure it is important to apply the following, one week prior to your treatment. No drinking alcohol, no smoking, no chemical peels ,other skin or medical procedures. Drink plenty of water and get adequate rest.

    POST-CARE

There IS downtime. “Downtime” is very subjective. What you think “looks bad” and/or is “uncomfortable” can be very different from someone else’s perception. If you are comparing it to cosmetic surgery, then no, the downtime is minimal. If you are comparing it to say a light chemical peel where no one can tell you did anything and you are just a bit flaky everywhere, then no. You can expect to see and feel the following.....

Redness, swelling and scabbing (series of tiny *brown spots known as Carbon Dots) in the treatment area

Average of 8 days downtime on the face and neck areas

Average of 10 to 14 days on the body, depending on the area being treated and the intensity of the treatment

Swelling usually begins the day following your treatment, and peaks around day 3

After day 3, swelling subsides and Scabs (Carbon Dots) form.

Scabs (Carbon Dots) normally begin to fall off around day 6 and 7 (for face and neck)

Please be aware that the days indicated are simply guidelines for average healing time. Healing time and results may be negatively compromised by not following the after care protocol: no drinking alcohol, no smoking and no picking/scrubbing. If your health is compromised in any way, this can also extend your healing time and negatively affect your results.

*The superficial Plasma Pen point targets the skin in its immediate vicinity which reduces the excess skin while tightening the desired treated area. A series of tiny brown spots (Carbon dots which generally appear after day three) are the result of strategically placed plasma to attain the desired result and elimination of excess skin. The skin around the carbon dot tightens instantly, pulling the cells closer together.
