5. Treatment Eligibility and Right to Decline Service

Medical clearance has not been received
The treatment area appears irritated, infected, injured, or otherwise unsuitable
The client has not followed required preparation instructions
The client’s expectations are inconsistent with the nature of the service
The requested service falls outside the provider’s professional scope
The client behaves in a threatening, abusive, discriminatory, disruptive, or inappropriate manner
Continuing the service would compromise safety, professional standards, or the client experience
A provider’s decision to postpone or decline treatment is a professional determination and does not constitute discrimination or a guarantee that another service will be appropriate.
6. Treatment Expectations and Results
Ultra Cold Jet T33 treatments are designed to support healthier-looking skin and may help improve the appearance of concerns such as firmness, elasticity, tone, texture, fine lines, crepey-looking skin, visible pigmentation, enlarged pores, dullness, and overall radiance.

7. Comfort, Skin Response, and Recovery
Ultra Cold Jet T33 is a non-invasive service with no required downtime.
Temporary responses may include:

Other individualized skin responses
The intensity and duration of any response may vary according to the treatment area, client sensitivity, treatment settings, professional products used, and individual skin condition.
Clients should immediately communicate unusual discomfort during a service and contact MKUP ARTISTRY & DESIGN & MK PRO ESTHETIC SERVICES if they experience an unexpected or concerning response afterward.
An esthetic service is not emergency medical care. Clients experiencing severe symptoms, difficulty breathing, significant swelling, signs of infection, or another urgent medical concern should obtain prompt medical assistance.
8. Pre-Treatment and Aftercare Compliance
Clients agree to follow all preparation, pre-treatment, post-treatment, and home-care instructions provided by MKUP ARTISTRY & DESIGN & MK PRO ESTHETIC SERVICES.
Instructions may include temporarily modifying the use of:
Retinoids
Exfoliating acids
Prescription skincare
Pigment-correcting products
Physical exfoliants
Waxing or depilatory products
Makeup
Heat, steam, sauna, or intense exercise
Tanning beds and spray tans
Other products or activities that may affect the treatment area
Clients should not discontinue prescribed medication without guidance from the prescribing healthcare professional.
Failure to follow professional instructions may affect treatment eligibility, comfort, recovery, and results. MK PRO ESTHETIC SERVICES is not responsible for an adverse or diminished outcome caused by inaccurate disclosure, failure to follow instructions, unapproved product use, or receiving another procedure without notifying the provider.
9. Appointment Reservations
Appointments are not considered confirmed until all applicable requirements have been completed, which may include:
Consultation
Intake and health-history forms
Required consent forms
Retainer or full payment
Booking confirmation
Medical clearance, when requested
Appointment requests are subject to availability.
Submitting an inquiry, consultation request, payment form, financing application, or waitlist request does not independently guarantee an appointment time.
10. Pricing and Introductory Opportunities
All services are charged according to the pricing in effect at the time of purchase or written proposal.
The standard investment for individual Ultra Cold Jet T33 treatments begins at the amount displayed on the current service menu. Final pricing may vary according to:

Number of recommended sessions
Length of appointment
Professional products or enhancements

Preferred introductory pricing may occasionally be offered to eligible new clients. Introductory pricing:
Is subject to consultation and eligibility
May be available for a limited period

May not be combined with another offer unless expressly stated
Does not establish the standard price of the service
May be discontinued or modified before purchase
Once a service or package has been purchased and confirmed, its agreed price will not be increased unless the client requests additional services, treatment areas, products, or enhancements.
11. Retainers and Payment
Unless otherwise stated in writing, a 50% retainer is required to reserve a customized treatment plan or treatment series. The remaining balance is due at the first scheduled treatment appointment.
Individual appointments, consultations, introductory offers, and special programs may require full payment at booking.
Accepted payment methods may include:
Major credit or debit cards
Stripe
Venmo
PayPal
Zelle
Cash App
Approved financing or installment providers
Other payment methods accepted by the business at the time of purchase
A reservation is not complete until payment has successfully processed.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that their payment information is accurate and that sufficient funds or credit are available. Returned, reversed, disputed, or failed payments may result in appointment cancellation and additional processing fees where permitted.
12. Third-Party Financing
Financing or installment options may be offered through an independent payment provider.
Approval, payment schedules, interest, fees, credit decisions, late-payment terms, and account servicing are determined solely by the financing provider.
MKUP ARTISTRY & DESIGN & MKUP PRO ESTHETIC SERVICES does not control financing approval and does not guarantee that financing will be available to every client.
A financing agreement is separate from these Terms. Clients remain responsible for obligations owed to the financing provider even when an appointment is rescheduled, postponed, or otherwise modified, subject to applicable law and the provider’s agreement.
13. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Clients must provide at least 72 hours before an appointment to cancel or reschedule without a late-cancellation charge.
Appointments changed with less than the required notice may result in:
Loss of the applicable booking retainer
A late-cancellation fee of $50.00
Forfeiture of a treatment from a prepaid package
A requirement to pay the outstanding fee before booking again
Failure to attend an appointment without notice will be treated as a no-show and may result in no-show fee of $100.00
Repeated cancellations or schedule changes may result in the client being required to prepay all future appointments or may lead to discontinuation of the professional relationship.
Emergency circumstances will be reviewed individually, but exceptions are not guaranteed.
14. Late Arrivals
Clients should arrive at the time directed in their appointment confirmation.
Late arrivals past 20 minutes are subjected to a Late arrival fee of $25.00
A late arrival may require:
A shortened appointment
Modification of the planned treatment
Rescheduling
Cancellation when insufficient time remains to perform the service responsibly
The full scheduled service fee may remain due when an appointment must be shortened or cancelled because of the client’s late arrival.
MKUP ARTISTRY & DESIGN & MK PRO ESTHETIC SERVICES will not rush a service or compromise professional standards to accommodate a late arrival.
15. Treatment Packages and Series
Treatment packages are designed around a recommended sequence and schedule.
Clients purchasing a package or series agree to:
Complete all required consultations and forms
Attend appointments according to the recommended frequency
Follow pre-treatment and aftercare instructions
Notify the provider of relevant health or medication changes
Complete the package within 6 months of purchase
Maintain any recommended home-care protocol
Unless otherwise stated in writing:
Packages are intended for the original purchaser only
Packages are nontransferable without written approval
Package services may not be exchanged for cash
Unused sessions may not be divided among multiple clients
Promotional enhancements have no separate cash value
Missed or late-cancelled sessions may be forfeited under the cancellation policy
When a treatment plan must be discontinued for documented medical reasons, MK PRO ESTHETIC SERVICES will review the unused portion according to the published refund policy and applicable law.
16. Refunds
Retainers, completed services, opened products, promotional offers, and treatment packages are nonrefundable.
Medical Exception: Retainers and completed services are nonrefundable. When treatment is discontinued because the provider determines that the client is no longer eligible, the unused package balance will be reviewed individually, subject to products received, completed services, promotional value, and applicable law.
No refund will be issued solely because:
Results develop more slowly than expected
A client does not experience the same result as another person
The client does not follow the recommended protocol
The client changes their mind after a service has been performed
The client fails to complete the series within the applicable period
The client fails to follow aftercare or home-care instructions
17. Products and Home Care
Professional products may be recommended or included as part of a treatment service and or experience.
Clients are responsible for:
Following product directions
Disclosing known allergies and sensitivities
Performing a patch test when directed
Discontinuing use and contacting the business if irritation occurs
Keeping products away from children
Storing products according to manufacturer instructions
Opened, used, damaged, or improperly stored products are not eligible for return unless defective or otherwise required by law.
Product recommendations are based on information available at the time of consultation and do not guarantee that a client will not experience sensitivity or irritation.
18. Photography and Treatment Documentation
Treatment photography may be recommended or required to:
Document the condition of the treatment area
Support treatment planning
Evaluate visible progress
Maintain professional client records
Internal treatment documentation and public promotional use are separate permissions.
Acceptance of these Terms does not automatically authorize MKUP ARTISTRY & DESIGN & MK PRO ESTHETIC SERVICES to publicly use a client’s photographs, name, testimonial, facial identity, or other identifying information with out consent of the client and or unless under agreed upon terms for the sake of a discounted service or treatment series for promotional and marketing purposes.
Any educational, website, social-media, email, print, advertising, or promotional use requires a separate written authorization and or agreement.
When a special program requires photography as a condition of participation, that requirement will be disclosed before purchase. The client’s identity will not be publicly shared without additional written authorization.
19. Testimonials and Reviews
Clients may voluntarily provide feedback, reviews, or testimonials.
MKUP ARTISTRY & DESIGN & MK PRO ESTHETIC SERVICES may respond to or share a testimonial only in accordance with the client’s authorization and applicable platform requirements.
The business will not disclose private health, treatment, or account information when responding publicly to a review.
Testimonials represent individual experiences and do not guarantee results.
20. Appointment Communications
By scheduling an appointment, clients authorize MKUP ARTISTRY & DESIGN & MK PRO ESTHETIC SERVICES and its booking platform to send transactional communications reasonably related to:

22. Minors
Clients must be at least 18 years old to independently purchase or consent to services.
A client under the age of 18 must have the written authorization of a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian may be required to:

Remain present during the service
Assume financial responsibility
Provide identification or proof of authority

23. Professional Conduct and Client Experience

Harassment, intimidation, threats, abusive language, discriminatory conduct, sexual misconduct, unsafe behavior, or intentional disruption will not be tolerated.
The business may immediately end an appointment or professional relationship when a client’s conduct compromises safety, dignity, professional boundaries, or the experience of staff and other clients.
When a service is ended because of inappropriate client conduct, amounts already paid may be retained to the extent permitted by the applicable cancellation, service, and refund policies.

These Terms, together with the applicable privacy policy, booking policy, payment policy, consent forms, service description, written proposal, and signed client agreement, constitute the applicable agreement between the client and MKUP ARTISTRY & DESIGN & MK PRO ESTHETIC SERVICES regarding the subject matter addressed.
A verbal statement will not modify a written policy or agreement unless the modification is confirmed in writing by an authorized representative of MKUP ARTISTRY & DESIGN & MK PRO ESTHETIC SERVICES.
